Double-page illustrated piece created for the Half Page zine, by Adobe, on the first edition: ‘Making Waves’. The zine explores the power of women in the creative industry, who are creating the next trends in visual design.

My participation was inspired by my personal story as a first-generation South American immigrant in the US, coming from humble beginnings. Since taking the journey into the freelancing world, I have landed partnerships with amazing people at Adobe, Shein, Walmart, and more. It is known that in the UK, less than 10% of all creative workers come from a working-class background, the scenario is not much different in the US.

The hand lettering "Creative courage inspires", featured on the piece comes from the fact that creative and courageous women have greatly inspired me in my creative life. I hope I can inspire other girls like me in the future to know they can also pursue creative careers regardless of their socioeconomic background. 

The piece was developed with Adobe Illustrator, using a mix of 2D and 3D tools.
